Yvonne Hurkes became a member of the staff of Good Shepherd in July 2010. As Office Manager, she is responsible for office administration, human resources functions, and implementation of information technology. She has over 30 years of office experience, with her most recent position as Office Administrator at a financial planning firm for 11 years.
Yvonne is a graduate of Dickinson State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Technology. Her major is in Information Technology, and her minor is in human resources. She is also a Beginning Experience facilitator; and she has taken training in BreakThrough and BodyTalk modules, both sponsored by the International BodyTalk Association, of which she is a member. These modalities more fully integrate the spirit/mind/body complex toward a more healthful and balanced way of living.
Yvonne lives in Bismarck and she is the mother of three grown children. She and her late husband, Jim, were involved in agri-business, and she continues to manage that pursuit in her spare time. She also enjoys reading, kayaking, walking, gourmet cooking, socializing and meeting people; and most of all, she loves to dance!!
