Richard has been a professional musician for over forty-five years. After graduating from Bismarck high in 1968, he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue the recording industry. He landed two recording contracts during the 70’s; first with Shelter Records where he released three albums, and then on to Capitol Records where he released four. After living in California for twenty years and extensive touring, he moved to Las Vegas and performed in many production shows and corporate events for fourteen years. He returned to his hometown in August of 2004. Shortly after his return he began worship leadership with Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck as band leader and soon after that as Worship and Music director. When Good Shepherd opened their North Campus, Richard became the Horizon Worship team band leader for two years. He is honored to accept his call as Music and Worship Minister for GSLC.
