Laura joined the staff of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in July 2009. As the Communication Minister, Laura oversees the Shepherd’s Voice monthly newsletter and weekly email, the GSLC website, the Annual Report, and many other aspects in the communication and marketing efforts for the church. Additionally, Laura serves as both a member of the Marketing Committee and as the Recording Secretary for the GSLC Council.
With her most recent position as the Marketing Manager for a national retailer, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, writing, public relations, and advertising. She has experience in communications, project and event management, strategic planning, direct marketing, customer analysis, market research, creative content development, budget management, problem solving, and leadership. Laura received her Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in both Marketing and Business Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
As the Communication Minister, Laura looks forward to spreading the message, sharing God’s love, and helping others by teaching the vision and mission of the church. Additionally, Laura is excited for the friendships she will make with the staff and members of the congregation.
Laura lives in Bismarck with her husband, Nick. Outside of work, Laura enjoys running, writing, traveling, photography, playing sports, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
