Adele Geiger joined the Good Shepherd team in January of 2007 as the Children & Family Education Minister. She facilitates a vital ministry overseeing the spiritual care of our children from preschool through grade 6. This program puts into practice a visionary and progressive approach that provides an innovative worship experience and works to fulfill the mission of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Some of the programs included in this ministry are: a church school that challenges children to live their faith inside and outside of the church; vacation bible school and summer day camp; third grade bible orientations and presentations; Christmas programs; first communion classes; special service projects reaching out to the disengaged and those in need and many other meaningful faith building experiences for the youth and their families.
Adele’s career has been diverse and includes: teaching; program supervising and training; marketing and event planning for the state of North Dakota and education ministry. She is busy at home as well with the most rewarding job of all, being a mother to her son Isaac and daughter Mandy.
